Semester Six: Short Goodbye

Hello! 

It's been a long time since I wrote on this blog. Lately I've been busy with my internship life. (will update it soon)! :D

So, this blog is all about my short sixth semester. This semester was epic! I have classes only 3 days out of 5 days per week. And we still have our last trip together. It was busy but relaxing at the same moment. 

This semester, our big project was a presentation. We have to visit an adventure exhibition and make a presentation with the topic given by our lecture. It was not as hard as the previous projects. And I am thankful for it. 

But what makes it meaningful is, I joined another guiding competition this semester. And the best part is I got the second place!! It was a great memory for me. The competition I joined was made by the other hospitality schools in Bandung. There are a lots of categories such as guiding, tour package, tourism quiz, photography, and so on. My school only joined 3 categories which are guiding, tour package, and tourism quiz. Not only my batch that joined the competition, but also my seniors. For guiding competition, there are 2 of us who joined it. And both of us got second and third place. Is it cool, isn't it? We proved that we are not only good in our school. We got the first place for tour package competition!! My seniors really nailed it!!

In the middle of our internship preparation and waiting for the result, we have our last trip together to Manado. It was a 6 days trip. We took the airplane to go to Manado. In case you don't know where is Manado, Manado is the capital city of South Sulawesi. It has the beautiful underwater scenery in the island of Bunaken. We experienced both culture and nature tourism. And also we do some pilgrim tourism. It was so so nice!! I would like to come back again. Even the sun was striking freakin' hot, the breeze was super nice! I even still the color difference (belang) in a shape of my swimwear because of the super hot sun. But anyway, the trip was nice and enjoyable, even though in the beginning I really hate the organization.

And finally, after we finished our trip, we went back to class and then took our last exam of the semester. We have our last exam, but the other student just did their mid-term exam. lol. Somehow, we are one step ahead from them. The exam went well, since we don't care it anymore. HAHA. 

After the exam, we got like 3 weeks of holiday, where we supposed to prepare for the internship. I got the chance to have an internship in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. It is located on the east of Bali (in case you don't get the picture of Indonesian Map). It was far away from home and friends. :( But I heard the experience is priceless! And I hope it's true.
